It is important of choosing a career I want to do for the remainder of my life. With my love of sports and medicine. I have decided to chose that Athletic trainer and Professional Athlete would be appropriate occupations for me. However, according to Major league players association, the average annual salary of a MLB player is $2,996,106 in 2009(Blair). Also, Minor league baseball players usually make 1,100 to 2,150 a month(Gordon). The reason why I would wanna be a professional athlete is because they make more money and don't work every day of the week. Another difference for Athletic trainers and Professional athletes is they don't require the same years of education. For instance, Athletic trainers educational requirements include at a minimum a bachelor's degree and two years of clinical experience.
