Athletes Should Not Get Paid

The question is should soldiers get paid more than professional athletes. There are many opinions about it. I’m here to tell you mine. Soldiers should get paid more because their going out and risking their life so the professionals can go outside and throw a ball around. When they are on that field everything is serious they can get hurt, but the soldiers know they can get in critical condition that causes them not to be able to do anything else they wanna do yet they still go out there and save our country so we can be free. They have to go through these horrible boot camps to get trained to go out and fight. It’s not as easy as it sounds. They can get shot and killed, they know that. Yet they still go out and fight. Without the soldiers, nobody would really have a hero because we wouldn't have the freedoms to do anything with anyone together. That is super unfair!! Soldiers protect us, our country, and our freedom meanwhile athletes do nothing but fight for medals, hit hockey pucks with wooden sticks, kick balls with their feet, and jump into swimming pools. Honestly.” Many people think the athletes earn their money by the sports they play because they get a sold out game when really that reasoning isn't fair. People may pay to go watch a couple people throw some balls, but who's gonna go pay to see people killing each other for OUR freedoms. I honestly don't think anybody will. I wonder if they let the professional athletes in the soldier's shoes for one day how much they would change their mind about the whole scenario. The soldiers are the reason they get to go out and play games like they do or go out and watch the ones who do play
