Athazagoraphobia is the fear of being left behind or forgotten. So before I start my story I should probably tell you what I look like. I’m nothing special, I am a sixteen year old sophomore boy who is five feet and eleven inches tall with some muscle, I have dark brown hair and a small scar in my left eyebrow. My only really noticeable features are my eyes and my ears because I have a blue eye and a brown eye then my ears are noticeable because they look like elf ears, the ends come to a point and they are flat one the top of the lobes instead of round like yours. Since I look like this I”m called a freak everyday, now enough about me I’ll start the story. My story starts on October 23rd, It is a dark, rainy morning around about 4:25 …show more content…
I am finally awoken by the buzzer on my neck that tells me that my mom needs me, so I get up and go inside where at that point I go to my moms door and knock. Once I’m at my mom’s door I knock and in a low voice say, “ Mama I’m back from my run, what do you need?” I then wait for a response and after about three minutes in a very weak voice I hear my mom say, “Yeah you can come in.”
I then walk inside and I am greeted by the image of true horror, I see the pile of skin and bone that used to be my mother lying in bed she looks at me and I can’t even gather the strength to look her in the eyes.
“Hi Mama, what is it that you were needing,” I said.
In a weak forced voice my mother replies, “Oh I just wanted to know why you insist on sneaking out and leaving me here to die you ungrateful little fuck?
Holding back tears I say with a very shaky voice “I’m sorry mama I snuck out to go for a run so I can get stronger and be able to take care of you. I promise I won’t sneak out

I think to myself Fuck I’m going to fast to stop so just as my sister lunges at me I fall and slide under her , As she flies over me and crashes into the sliding glass door I hit the wall turn and propel myself off the wall into a full sprint. I then run to my room and jump out my window but as I do this I realize I just made a life threatening mistake because I jump straight into my step dad’s arms. As he catches me he starts to try and crush me and my last thought before I pass out is shit gotta get out but

However, it is also a hindrance when we need to try something new – when we need to get out of our comfort zone in order to create new memories.…
