Ten prominent astrologers were asked to complete a survey and make a prediction about which political candidate would take office after the presidential election. Four of the astrologers predicted Bush, four predicted Gore, and the remaining 2 couldn’t make clear predictions. The predictions followed the polls of the US populations who was also divided. After the election ended, astrologers made the claim that, because Mercury was stationed directly on the night of the election, the answer was obvious who was going to win. If the answer was so obvious, then why did so many astrologers miss it? This survey is a perfect example to back up my claim for this report that astrology is a pseudoscience.
