Whether I am on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram I always see a post about someone’s sign, ranging from what they do in a certain situation or what a particular trait it is of a sign. People are now actually putting it in their bios on social media and really broadcast it. They are also everywhere in jewelry, whether it is a necklace, earrings, etc., people are showing it off somehow and strive to get attention from a fellow sign. When someone associates themselves with something such as a sign, they begin to recognize their similarities to it. They then become that sign the more they read on because they are so desperate to cling on to some idea or sense of an identity. Finding other people who are Virgos may excite you and you feel like you belong with them because that’s what you associate yourself with. Those who turn to their zodiac signs or astrology do so instead of religion because, in astrology books there are no parables or hidden messages that supposedly contain the truth. Instead, the books are straight forward in telling you virtually anything you want to know. Another factor is that there is nothing to really worship, which means that you don’t have to rely on another being for really anything.
