Imagine you are in the class with a new student. Everything is quiet and everyone is working; all seems okay. All of the sudden, the student starts coughing. Not a big deal right? The coughing goes on for a while. The coughing soon gets worse and turns into wheezing. The student, breathless and red in the face, are not moving in their seat, nor are taking in full breathes anymore. Your teacher runs to the student and takes them out of the room. You can hear the student coughing, wheezing, and struggling to breath as they walk down the hall. You and your fellow classmates have just witnessed a severe asthma flare up.
