A possible cause for these spikes is that in just the last 50 years over 70,000 man-made chemicals have been created. These chemicals are being added to the foods we eat and the household cleaners we use everyday to clean our homes. The majority of these chemicals, especially the ones used in cleaning products have never been tested for their harmful long-term effects on humans. Now more and more literature is showing that the long term exposure to many of these daily household chemicals is detrimental to human health.
We often take precautions to keep household cleaning chemicals out of reach of children and pets. We exercise precaution to avoid incidences of poisoning through ingestion.
