Life has always been full of suffering and pain, and with many diseases that are going incurable and making people’s life intolerable and unbearable. Even though medicine is constantly developing it still doesn’t give every patient the chance to relieve their pain or even survive from it. Euthanasia is defined as the painless killing of a patient suffering from an incurable and painful disease or in an irreversible coma also known as assisted suicide. In Greek its translated as “good death” or “easy death,” which its originated as a term referring to a painless and peaceful natural death with old age. A patient is taken away from medical treatment with the intention to cause death to the patient, such as removing them from respirators, taking away their medications and taking food and water away from the patient, so the person eventually dies.
