To attend graduate school at New Mexico Highlands University I will require an assistantship assignment. When moving to New Mexico I will be thousands of miles away from my family and my support system. I will be supporting myself and my daughter with little help. This assistantship will allow me to concentrate on my education while also having the financial help necessary. I hope to attend New Mexico Highlands University and without this assistantship that may be impossible. If awarded this assistantship I will be contributing to the English program and I will gain invaluable knowledge needed for my future career.
