You did an excellent job answering this week's discussion board question. The need for auditor, both internal to organizations and external, is in high demand right now, but will this continue. I agree with you in the conclusion that the need for auditors will only continue to increase in the future. This is because the regulations put on organizations will continue to increase and so will the security threats to organization. However, i think their job will grow and merge in with compliance and risk management groups. I say this because many time their jobs have overlaps and are similar and goals. I think this will be done to ensure compliance and increases the efficacy along with other benefits. The aforementioned is just one possibility
