Unit E was not one of my favourite units, but it was interesting and I learned many things about rocks and minerals. At the beginning of the first unit, we had a university professor come in from McMaster University and teach us a lesson on minerals. This was a great way for us to learn a lesson from a different teacher, instead of learning from Mr. Patterson. The professor got us to identify different types of minerals and we briefly got into rock types. We also had a student teacher come in for 4 weeks and he taught most of the lesson from unit E. Mr. Robbins was a great teacher and his lessons were very clear and understandable. The only thing Mr. Robbins needed to improve was speaking louder because sometimes it was hard to understand what
