Technology in the classroom has become more prominent in today’s schools and have even replaced textbooks in some cases. Educators should have the resources to fund technology and make it readily available for not only their use but also for the students. Since technology has been introduced into the classroom it has changed how teacher teach and students learn. If I were to choose a computer that I felt suited myself, I would recommend to a school committee, the DELL All-in-one computer Inspiron 3459 i3459-3275 Intel Core i3 6th Gen 6100U 8GB Touchscreen Windows Professional 64 Bit. This computer has both key feature and touch screen which would be optimal for hands on applications for students. This computer is also compact and easy for movement among the classroom if need be.
First I found this computer at Best Buy when I was doing my initial research but because I am a avid Newegg buyer, I found it for almost $200 cheaper with a higher graphics card along with a bigger screen size. This …show more content…
The first was Gradekeeper, which can be used to keep track of scores, attendance, and assignments, along with other relevant to the progress of my students. An individual license will only cost $20. Two other softwares, which are free for teacher is QuizFaber and TestCommander. Both of these allow teachers to create a variety of quizzes in HTML or javascript program. I know the importance of having Microsoft programs and since I am a student I have free access to Microsoft Professionals so I will not need to purchase additional software. I believe I have choose the right PC and essential programs to get my classroom off to a great start.
