We have four Tape supplier in California and the TAPE Dispenser is never an issue. The Dispenser is provided by the manufactures.

Yes, HQ has done the Life cost Estimate for an 8 year period and the TAPE is much cheaper. We have even contacted several Dot’s and the Table below shows the States that use TAPE. Some of these States have been using it for over 12 Years.

When using Thermoplastic a Lane Closure is required every 2-3 year to scrape it off. Tape it takes over 6 years. Improving on Safety & Sustainability. Using Thermoplastic Is not considered in alignment with our Safety & Sustainability when you can use a long-term solution that minimizes lane closure and longevity lie TAPE.
TAPE is the perfect solution for such a case. The shear stress applies only to Transverse Stripes and not longitudinal Stripes.
