Crisis Management Team has been taking the approach to communicate with the counselors to help assist individual who are in need of immediate service. The information that is offered (Crandall, W, Parnel, J.Spillan,2014). Any form of crisis is to first understand to what are the immediate needs of the crisis situation. A situation that causes changes in an individual perception of the world, leave lasting ramifications of the ordeal that they had experienced. The longevity of time, a tragic experience can be looked as an experience there is. In the time of struggle becomes the focal point of everyone in the midst. These individual who were victims of the Hurricane Katrina were of different ethnicity facing different crisis situation (Greene, 2007). Coping with loss has various factors that a counselor should be aware of especially with dealing with the other cultures of people. As a counselor the best intervention practice is through attachment therapy. Within these systematic approaches in a crisis, CMT provides therapy to the individual an understanding of why their grieving the loss and work on separation through methods such as the breaking bond strategy and through the healthy way detach from the one they loss (James&Gilliard,2013).
