CW Holland made initial contact with the family at the DSS office. CW Holland took the children to the visitation room while the parents sat in the mirror window area. CW spoke with Mrs. Cartee and David together. CW explained the DSS process and grave brochures. While CW was reading the allegation, Karlee runs out of the visitation room stating that she needed to use the restroom. While Mrs. Cartee was preparing to take the child to the restroom Karlee ended up using the bathroom on herself. Karlee used the restroom on herself. CW retrieved underwear and pants for Karlee and Mrs. Cartee to change Karlee.
When the mother returned. CW read the allegations. Mr. Houston stated that they were planning on moving before they received their taxes. They were planning on moving to Columbia. He commented that the landlord April Bennett could confirm it. She works for compass real estate solution. Jessica commented that she has been working at Subway for eight years. The parents stated that they have been together since they were in the 7th grade. They stated that they have been married for almost a year. The parents commented that one of David’s family members called DSS. David commented that he had a friend staying in this thing that they built this thing in the back of the home. He commented that the friend was really bad on heroin and his wife was going to leave him because of this friend. The whole family found out about this friend. Jessica left to check on the girls.
