I feel like the points I was trying to make have gotten lost in translation. They are...
Just a note to say that we all need to do a better job of communicating and putting the adequate amount of time into doing things so they don't get so mucked up.
I understand that the fosters change the names but that is a easy fix. It's simply this is the dogs name now don't change it. We have allowed them to change the names so now this is something that everyone just does.
I get that not repeating names can be a challenge and all I'm asking for is look at the current FOAC animals and don't use those names. It's an average of 30 animals that we have as FOAC intakes so I hope are name vocabulary would go beyond that. I believe the internet can …show more content…
First very seldomly do I get the AC form. Second someone at FOAC has to assign each dog there number like what Maureen did with the 10 puppies. Not a big deal except when no-one knows what puppy is with what foster and what puppy has what name it makes it extremely difficult to assign any dog a number and keep it straight. Furthermore, since every dog fostered or adopted out is comprised of at least 5 people dealing in some way with the animal everyone has to be rehearsed on the basic information of each dog most importantly the name. There is no way all of these people can track the dog with a number instead of a name. The number is more for records and keeping it organized for the back of the house not the front. The name can be secondary for those that don't deal directly with the animals but it's not plausible for the ones that do deal directly with the
