First of all, thank you for servicing our country in the Marines. Secondly, I think that you doing great in the first step of identifying that you are having a hard time adapting to civilian life. Self-disclosure is a huge step in the right direction. “Sometimes our thoughts and feelings become clearer to us in the process of disclosing them to others” (Wood, 2016, p. 64). Just a suggestion but it might help if you asked some advice from some other service men and women how they were able to acclimate themselves to civilian life. Good luck to you in your new life
