1: 35 - Heavy Use of Dialogue: In this scene, it is a still picture of a radio then they added a moving circle around it to show the affect of sound be produced from it. The viewer hears the voice through the radio coming from the station while the sound of Huckleberry snoring is present. The use of using heavy dialogue is to reduce the number of scenes the animators have to create. By adding dialogue, the viewer still understands what’s taking place in the scene.
4:21- Elimination of Z-Axis Movement: In this scene, the bulgar set up a detour sign in hopes of losing the officer (Huckleberry). However, the burglar is only seen both driving and walking on the X-axis. This method allowed the animators to skip displaying characters on a Z-Axis which took much time creating that movement perspective. …show more content…
Everything in the scene is cycled both the background and the car itself! Again, this allows the animator not to spend time on the small details as seen in other animations ultimately cutting down the price immensely.
3:24- Reduced Frame Rates: During this scene, Huckleberry is asking the Bulgar for his autograph. Specifically focusing on the movement of the pencil, it is visually chopping. This is a result of the frame rates animators had to do in order to make it more cost effective overall.
2:37- Segmentation of Character Design: This scene contains Huckleberry and the Bulgar speaking to each other while only their mouths are moving. This technique allows the animator to keep the bottom half and only having to reanimate their heads to display them
