I have read the book Let it snow, written by John Green, Maureen Johnson and Lauren Myracle. The book consists of three different holiday romances, each one written by one of the authors. The book follows three different teenagers as they experience the biggest snow blizzard of the decade in the town; Grace town.
1. The first book is called The Jubilee express and it is written by Maureen Johnson. The book is about a girl called Jubilee (named after her parents obsession for the Flobie Santa Village), who is forced to spend Christmas Eve with her grandparents in Florida because her parents got arrested for having a riot over a set of miniature decorative houses called the Flobie Santa Village. On her way to Florida her train gets stuck in a large snowstorm. Jubilee gets of the train and walks to the closest food place, the Waffle house. At the Waffle house she tries to call her boyfriend Noah, (who had been acting weird) when she runs into Stuart. A teenage boy and …show more content…
I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to read a little bit more of a challenging book and get into the Christmas spirit. This book is probably not the best alternative for children, but great for teenagers up. This book is also great for people who love to read romance and are up for a great laugh and a good time.
5. I have never read a book like this before, which makes it hard to compere. I have never read a book by Maureen Johnson or Laureen Myracle but I have read quite a few books by John Green. I would say that this is a "typical" John Green book considering that it's a love story, but it does have a happy ending, which is quite rare in a John Green book. Another thing that classifies as a "typical" John Green book, is that it is about a boy and a girl, and a complicated love story. This is definitely one of my favorite books by John Green, because it's such a "feel good book".
6. I choose to be Addie and to write a letter to her boyfriend
