The purpose of the assessment is to give base measurements of person thinking and skills that will help me identify potential strengths and weaknesses I might have as a manager in an open system organization.

I have been asked, in past jobs, to consider being a manager or a lead salesperson. The focus in our material on information and results shaping an organization, and then the organization using those exchanges in reshaping or adding value is making me think about my own exchanges in work, in study and with people. These involvements do change me, and change my habits and relationships. The assessments indicate that I need to be more thoughtful about move past just getting the concepts and the ideas. I need to learn how to use technology to help me store information that will improve me personally. I will be a better manager if I understand more about relationships, and I use that conceptual understanding in applying how I treat people at work and school. An example would be in dealing with the frustration of a customer or work associate. To really listen, I need to be patient, hear the feelings behind the words, and have facts that can be useful information in dealing with trouble or concerns.
