They can be helpful in establishing person’s abilities in logical thinking and reasoning. There are questions about importance and reliability of IQ tests, and what exactly they measure. But despite the improvement of IQ scoring systems, the tests still provide limited sight of intelligence. Some critics argue that IQ tests do not actually measure anything except how good a person is at taking an IQ test.
