Dr. Lemieux’s work in valuable to my research because it takes on an interesting point of view. It is not asking the standard “was Roe v. Wade a mistake?” It questions the common belief that Roe v. Wade caused abortion to become a hot topic issue and social effect. Although I value his point of view, This source is not strong in feminist research due to the lack of emphasis on women and gender, and lack of examining emotions. I find this piece to be vital to my research study because it addressed the topic what Impact as Roe v. Wade had in America; more so how Roe v. Wade is being used in the wrong way. Dr. Manninen utilized other feminist works and conservative works to analyze both sides of her argument. She presented the negative impact that reasoning for Roe v. Wade as caused an increase of Anti-Choice young supporters then Pro-Choice.
