I took the assessing your conflict style measure and it produced my scores on the five styles of conflict. These five styles are avoidance, obliging, dominating, integrating, and compromise. Learning about the five main conflict styles has helped me understand that I have choices for managing conflict. I can see where there will be a time and a place to use each style and each style has its advantages and limitations. Taking this assessment has made me think more about how my conflict style represents my natural tendencies when faced with conflict. I can now determine what my style is for the most part.
