The health and safety at work act was introduced to secure the health, safety and welfare of anyone who enters the setting including; children, parents/carers, staff or visitors. As employees, we have to maintain the health and safety requirements by; reporting anything which concerns us, using safe equipment and wearing appropriate protective clothing. We do this is our setting at meal times and while we are changing nappies. At meal times, we wear protective clothing by; wearing an apron and gloves (if your nails are painted) and tying your hair up so it’s away from the food. There are many creation stories, each unique to a particular religion and as a result they vary in many ways depending on the religions particular faith, beliefs and views. The hypothesis that will be explored is, the two Abrahamic religions Christianity and Judaism withhold a broad spectrum of beliefs and subsequently interpret the origin stories in both similar ways, influencing their world views. When someone dials 911, they expect someone to be there to help them. Whether they just had a slight fall, or are suffering from Cardiac Arrest, first responders need to be there for the citizens they serve. If a first responder is injured and cannot do their job properly, then they are putting the safety of the citizens at risk. To me, stewardship means to use the gifts God gave you to help others whether they suffer or not. One who is a steward has great integrity, and would do the right thing even when nobody's watching. A steward values human life and follows the many principles of Stewardship that include helping the poor and vulnerable, helping preserve the dignity of human life from conception to death, speaking for those without a voice, treating every human with value regardless of race, religion, sexuality, or any other walk of life they may posses. In today’s society people has taken care of the environment in a different way. If God created the world and everything that goes along with it; then we as followers of God, Don’t we need to treat the world the way God would want us to? In Psalms 24:1-2 NIV it says “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.” How funny that not just people, but Christians themselves treat the world with such mocking and disrespect towards the environment.
