Diversity is about creating cultures and practices that recognise, respect, value and embrace difference for the benefit of everyone, treating people as individuals, placing positive value on diversity (differences) in the community and in the workforce and recognising individual identity. There are a variety of different types of diversity in this world today, and one of them is Art.
Through Art, movies are created, and these movies are produced and directed in other countries which can educate people in an easy and understanding way. Museums hold onto historical artefacts throughout history that have come from lost cities and recovered tombs across the world from many different countries, and these mysteries that they hold gives everybody such a gripping interest that they wish to learn much more about the world, this, expanding diversity to a much wider audience. These days, many can have Indian, Japanese or Korean food just by visiting restaurants within the city centre. This is due to their culture having fascinated us enough to be able to want to try it ourselves. It is sort of like testing it out and seeing if it is to our liking. This is the same with religious requirements such as halal or kosher foods due to having people from different religions moving into different countries, resulting in a more diverse country.
Diversity impacts education a lot. In schools, many students learn new languages and learn about religions they have never thought of learning about. Now, many jobs are interested in multi-lingual graduates.
The economic benefits of diversity are many. They are usually the clothes that we wear, the foods that we consume on a daily basis, the different types of people we work with in the workplace, the different kinds of businesses and the importing and exporting of goods that we heavily rely
