Assess The Difference Between Nonverbal Language And Non Verbal Language

Language is the idea of conveying a message, a form of communication which allows a message to be told through the use of verbal language and non-verbal language. Verbal language is portrayed by way of speech whereas non-verbal communication can be by way written language, hand gestures, facial expression and pictures. Both forms of language are altered to accommodate the varying types of audience, this may include their age, cultural background, economic status or title of power.

Language can also be broken down into the way we speak. It can be stretched from formal speech, which we may use when speaking with something in a higher authority to ourselves, to a more non-formal context which we may use with our work colleagues and clients, right down to slang or jargon speech which we tend to use when we are speaking with our family members or close friends. …show more content…
