We will never be good enough, and when we are, we are not seen as a woman anymore. We cannot be firm and serious, with a purpose, without being seen as too stuck up. After so many battles we have fought, and after so many other women have tried to set up the system to help us move forward in our struggle, we continue to be seen as inferior and treated with disrespect. This isn’t just a race issue. In America, if you are part of a minority group, whether it be through race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or socioeconomic status, you will be expected to always work twice as hard as the white man. And that is the fight we must fight
