Do think it would be chaotic if your leader was killed in battle or assassinated? In Rome in a 50 year period there was 23 leaders many of these leaders were killed either in battle or assassination. I think political assassination played a big part in the downfall for three reasons vulnerability, laziness, and invasion. Vulnerability Rome had a high percentage of death in battle or assassination. Evidence supporting this is that 17 leaders out of 23 were either in battle or assassination which leads me to my second point that means 1.35% of these deaths were either of the two deaths.Counter argument could be the leader was replaced with no problems Rome would just carry on without the
