Aspects Shape Our Personalities: Does The Nature Or Nurture?

Our surroundings often shape our personalities and influence our individual qualities. In the nature versus nurture debate, in my opinion, I believe that humans are prone to adapt to the environment they're brought up in; meaning they contain a genetic disposition toward certain characteristics, however, they are revealed differently based on circumstances. I believe familial and social bonds, as well as academic and employment experiences most notably mold the person we become. As we all know, parents always want the best for us. They nurture us throughout our childhood and help us enter our adulthood well prepared. Also, the older the children get after teenage years, they start to get along more with their parents and open up more to them. My dad works long hours seven days a week. I know the main reason behind it is to provide every need for his family. Based on all the things parents do for their children, I believe the children should do the same in return.
