The countless reviews / results that a charity has obtained plays a large factor when someone is deciding which charity to donate to. The ASPCA has numerous goals that everyday they try to meet / complete. The ASPCA states that their main goal is “to provide effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States” ( “Mission Statement” ). Overall the organization has been very successful in meeting their main goal. They have about 6.5 million animals that are housed in their shelters, a reduction of 18.5% pets euthanized, and the ASPCA has found 2.7 million pets a home every year ( “Pet Statistics” ).
