So in American society they are more likely to get jobs because of that stereotype. And because they can pass for white. But those stereotypes are their reality. They have to take the Citizenship test, and that test is hard I can’t even pass it. U.S citizen they have to be “smart” to compete in majority. However, they are doing a hell of a job. In my Sociology class, I learned that in 2011, Asian american median family income is about 102,900, their poverty percentage is only 8% and the completion of a 4 or more years in college is 71%.
