I would love to have dinner with Ashoka and Genghis Khan. They were both passionate leaders in their countries. Although they have different heritage backgrounds I believe they were great leaders. I think those two would enjoy eating dinner with one another. Genghis might have told Ashoka that he liked how he brought a new religion to India. Ashoka would have told Khan that he admired his loyalty to his people. I would choose them not only for their great leadership skills but also for their knowledge and loyalty to their people. He ruled the empire like his grandfather once did. Differently he used military strength in order to expand the empire and created sadistic rules against their criminals. He ordered that all the prisoners would be subjected to torture and nobody should leave their prison alive. Also during the expansion Ashoka led a war against Kalinga. Lots of people died and suffered in that war he issued an expression of regret for the suffering inflicted in Kalinga and assured that he would renounce war and embrace the propagation of dharma. Ashoka distributed wealth, built monasteries, sponsored festivals, and looked after peace and prosperity he served as an inspiring model of a righteous and tolerant ruler that influenced monarchs from Sri Lanka to Japan. Buddhism is known in Asian cultures however, Ashoka brought that religion to India. He turned a tradition into an ideology and with his support Buddhism became a local Indian cult. Ashoka made India a prosperous and peaceful place. He did everything that he could to serve human kind from constructing shade houses for travelers to even clinics for animals and birds.
