A girl with short blue hair, hazel eyes, and a unique style catches everyone’s attention wherever she goes. Her hard life has made her into a strong independent woman. Her voice is unlike any other; her music is filled with stories to tell. Ashley Nicolette Frangipane is a 22-year-old woman who cares about her fans. Ashley was born on September 29, 1994 in New Jersey to Chris and Nicole Frangipane. She has two brothers who she loves dearly but they have definitely made her life pretty chaotic. Ashley Frangipane has used her tough upbringing, mental illness, rise to fame, being famous, and love for music impact her fans lives in an extraordinary way.
Ashley’s parents love their family dearly but that doesn’t mean life was easy for them. They often struggled with financial problems. As Ashley was growing up her parents were younger than her current age, this took a toll on her. Her parents had no choice but to drop

She portrays so much love and emotion for them; always putting her heart and soul into each performance. “The bulk of my performance, my art and my project comes from an emotive way of singing. That's how I stylize things. I think the emotion that I intend to portray comes through my voice and how I control the phrasing of things. Deep down I just have a love of performing” (Maria Sherman, “Halsey talks Strength and Songwriting”). Halsey is a role-model and takes a stand on issues that most artists are afraid to talk about, even when it gets her in trouble most of the time. She gets in a lot of trouble for what she says but she is always being honest. People tend to take her words out of context which leads to horrible rumors but it never stops her from sharing her ideas.
