Nina Jablonski's in her TED talk about race eloquently explained the differences in human skin color. For many centuries, the color of the human skin was the one feature determining the value of a person. For years, people suffered, forcibly removed from their homes, families and everything they knew and loved, and were sold as objects into slavery. They dehumanized, stripped of their rights, dignity, beaten, abused, and killed, simply because their skin was dark. Slavery might be the thing of the past, but its echo reverberates in or society to this day.…

Contrary to Tompkins (2012) theory that explains children can be writers at the same time they are learning to read if not sooner; when children are able to develop the interrelation of purpose, audience they can write about those experiences while learning standard spelling usage, capitalization, and punctuation. The writing process has five features with subsections lead the writer through the complete process of producing a paper ready for publishing. When I compare my writing preparation I find that most times it falls into prewriting = 1st draft, revising = 2nd draft, final round of revising for grammar/punctuation errors, and the paper is ready for submission. Tompkins (2012) outlines the constructive process of writing with the key features; prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, and publishing.…

Working in an office also has a number of disadvantages, aside from its benefits, which caused the trend of doing work at home to bloom. These drawbacks reduced the number of employees patronizing jobs done in an office environment. To start with, working in an office consumes more of individual’s personal time. As stated by Manuron (retrieved 2015), even though making more money is beneficial to a family financially, a family is likely to suffer in other ways because of an individual’s absence in some special family occasions, his irritability towards them and other constraints of working overtime.…
