Ashkii Little Teepee Analysis

Long, long ago there was nothing on earth but a little teepee in a world full of grass and berries. In that hut lived two native Americans. They had a child who's name was Ashkii. There was nowhere to go and nothing to see. He was the only native boy living. One day while the two Indians were out picking berries their son wondered off having no idea where he was going. He walked and walked until he was nearly dead from exhaustion. Directly in front of him was a big plant with a clear bubble around it. He climbed up on the plant and pop the substance with his finger. Something showered down on him and created circles of blue water across the grass. This is how our lakes and oceans came to be.

Together they continue their journey and discovered new life and animals such as fish, bears and horses. He had no idea that he had created new life but he was soon to be honored by it. As he returned back to the teepee. He told his parents to look outside. There were four legged creatures everywhere. The natives were so satisfied with thier son. They saw there son as a child of the chief above. He had discovered something fantastic and they had honored him for it. Shortly after his accomplishment the boy's parents had past away. He remembered his mom as the moon because she was light that kept the darkness away at night. He remembered his dad as the sun because he worked so hard during the day for Ashkii to survive in a lonely world. Ashkii was a role model to native tribes, people saw him as some form of nature. The lakes expanded, the mountains grew and the animals reproduced. The earth was now a place to live on. He gave us humans and animals a place to spend our life on. When he died his became the rain, his body became the structure of the earth and with his white pearled eyes, the white and blue skies were formed as something to watch over us. This is why the sky is above everything that's below it because Ashkii is watching over what he
