Ashford University: A Case Study

Decent Essays
Hello Toya,
This will be my first term at Ashford University and I wish you good luck as well. I like that you want to get your degree in Sociology to help families that are going to difficult times. When people think of social workers they think of the people that break families apart and that is not true. They are there to help it make better so a family can stay together. I learned something new today; I didn’t know that Alzheimer’s could happen as early as 40, that’s only 10 years away for me. I always stay active when it comes to learning and now I will do it even more so hopefully I don’t have to deal with this later on in life.

Most would say the best solution would be to build a bigger parking lot or parking garage, which is…

My mother, Annette MacRitchie, made the life changing decision to come to TWU from Ontario. In 1985, she had the privilege of being awarded the Terry Fox Scholarship, which she could choose to use at any Canadian University. She chose to attend Trinity because at that time it was the only Christian university in Canada. It turns out she never moved back to Ottawa, and the bonds made at Trinity have survived the test of time. To this day, she still tells me it was the best decision she made in her younger years.…
