“I’m Asher McKinney, and my father is the CEO of Best Buy. Ever heard of it? Yeah, you have─unless you live under a rock. I have so much money I could hire an assassin right now and slaughter─”
“Woah, woah, woah. Is something the matter here?” asked a handsome man with black hair and brown eyes that twinkled with amusement.
Asher whipped around to face the man who dared to interrupt the argument between him and Brooklyn. “Finally! Someone who works on this stupid boat. Yes, actually, there is a problem. This troll spilt her drinks all over me and made me look like a buffoon.”
“First of all, I do not work here. Second of all, this is the prettiest troll I think I’ve ever met. Oh─and─last but not least─you’re pathetic, so please say your farewells before I contact security and have you kicked off this ‘stupid boat’,” said the man who in that moment, was probably Brooklyn’s knight in shining armor, protecting her from the all evil that comes her way.
