• In Philadelphia, their murals were initially gang related. They then started a program so that they could beautify communities through street art that reflected the aspirations and experience of diverse communities. Since they were able to employ 3,000 teenagers that were able to expand and include art classes and internship for young artists. Philadelphia was then given the title mural capital of the country. The murals also helped in making local people aware of local racial incidents between working-class whites and working-class blacks.
• In Los Angeles, they had contemporary art that reflected Mexico’s revolutionary government. Critics felt as though some of the murals neglected the perspective of the historical contribution of the Mexican and Asian American racial group. • The World Trade Center was an important building for New York. When it got attacked many people didn’t know whether to rebuild it. Since the terrorist were able to attack the building the first, it caused America to feel worried about its nations security. At first I, didn’t think it would be a good idea to rebuild the building. However, I understand that it was a major component to Americas economic and political/military power so I’m for the rebuilding of the World Trade Center. However, I am fearful that it may be under attack again, especially since other terrorist group know how devastating it will be not only for our country but for our economic system.
