The three windows of Ash Lawn-Highland’s façade are six-over-six double-hung sash windows assembled upon wooden-clad walls. The window’s interior frames consist of hand-blown glass and molded trim. On each side of the double-sash windows, are green painted louvered wooden shutters. Flanking the pediment on the west wing of the structure are decorative verge boards with a metal gutter that runs the full length of the building. The structure’s shingles have two distinct configurations that include a styled pattern format on the structure’s original portion and a rectangular style format on the west wing addition. The side of the structure consists of white paneled clapboard and two nine-over-nine double-hung sash windows.
