Aschenputtel even connects with nature. Through all of these hard times Aschenputtel somehow can speak to and with nature and get them to help her when times are hard. Nature (example:birds) quickly help her pick up the lentils, drop her a gold shiny dress when she asked, and even climbed onto her shoulders at the end of the story as they all rode off in happiness. Unforutunatley, it is hard for me to compare this fictional tale to my own culture. Although, I found it nice that both in German and in English such great tales can be made. The powerful message of being your own person and doing risky things to get what you want showed how strong German culture can be.
Also, it was quite nice to read this piece of German literature. Although, it may be a silly tale it was nice to see how all the sentences came together. This tale helped me understand how stories should be laid
