Some people who live in Richmond don’t want to agree on constructing a nuclear power plant because of they are frightened that it’s going to explode and cause a lot of damage. In March 1979, an accident occur in The Three Mile Island nuclear power plant in Pennsylvania which allowed a small leakage of radiation surround the atmosphere. Many people would fear that it can harm their health, but in Document A it states that “the leak had no demonstrable effect on the health of anyone at the plant or in the surrounding area.” In other words, the small leakage didn't put anyones health and the environments’ in danger.
