The leadership role in which I have had the greatest positive influence in has been as the Fine Arts Commissioner in ASB. As the Fine Arts Commissioner, it is my responsibility to showcase the performing arts in any way I possibly can, and while I have successfully done that, I’ve also successfully created a new rally that now occurs every year. Even though last year was my first year on ASB, I still made an impact on my school by taking charge of said new rally. My ASB director wanted to try having an on-campus winter dance before winter break and we figured the best way to promote the new dance would be through a rally. In addition, my ASB director didn’t want to have cheer and dance perform in this rally, for they perform in every other

Marching Band Officer Essay I am interested in becoming a Drill Tech Captain or Brass Captain for the 2018-2019 Marching Band season. Ever since I started marching with the Mahwah Marching Thunderbirds, I have found myself amazed and interested in the culmination of expression through music and movement. Never before have I participated in an activity with such structure, passion, pride, and strong relationships between members. As a freshman, I was inspired by professional leaders of the band and how they were not only dignified while on the field, but enthusiastic and welcoming as well. I would love to be a leader in Marching Band so that I may positively contribute to the transference of the marching band drill and music from paper…

My heart is beating quickly, my mouth is dry, and as I look at the familiar faces in front of me, their judging eyes make them seem like strangers. I struggle to get them to quiet down and we begin our hour long sectional, which I have to lead. It was the first day of my third year in marching band and at the end of last year, with the graduation of the previous section leader, I was granted his important position. Being a competitive person, I was extremely self conscience of how my section made me look. I hated being blamed for their errors and was exceedingly harsh towards them during sectionals.…

April, I have called in the past prior to me sending out the message and I was informed the same EOB that was online is all they have also and to see if the patient EOB was different. Based on the EOB we have on file and the EOB that UHC have on file it all show the same exact date which is why the copay company is not paying the additional date. I call Ruth with UHC and left a voicemail but she is a register nurse therefore, she may not be able to provide me with a different EOB than what we currently have. I do agree with you that everyone EOB should reflect the same exact thing but if we are not able to get an EOB that reflect each date of service the copay company will not process the other date of service.…

There was a warm satisfaction I always felt prior to rallies as I frantically rushed around ensuring everyone was on the right cue. I was passionate about rallies because they were the one event where groups from different parts of the school congregated to support one another. Junior year, I became pep commissioner and was delegated with the task of directing rallies for the year. Upon being handed the job, I was left with no guidance since the previous pep commissioner graduated. As a result, I persevered learning from my mistakes with each rally as the year progressed.…

To reflect on the work placement in ADIB, it is really a beneficial opportunity in which I increased my knowledge in different areas such as the business area as well as selling area as they tried their best to let me understand their company process, as this branch doesn’t have IT department they asked me to do other work to gain knowledge of their daily work. Additionally, I felt that I’m used to the work at the customer service as I can understand customer needs and requests as I learnt from the first two weeks wherein I was at that time new as I didn’t know anything about the work process such as forms, the requirements and products. What is more, team work was the most useful skill I’ve apply it on the work since I was cooperative without…

I decided that I would take leadership roles throughout high school in order to help serve the less fortunate. KEY Club, a service and fundraising club, became my focus, and I travelled up the ranks to become the school’s external affairs manager and the service committee chair of the Eastern Canada District. As I introduced more extra-curricular activities into my life, organization became more important -- and I was shocked to see how much it helped me save…

I was now an experienced Student Council member, and was known to be very active with other school clubs and teams. There were high expectations put on me by the Co-Presidents and other Grade Twelves to organize activities completely on my own. This was a sharp contrast to my previous year of experience on Council when I had little responsibility. Nevertheless, I accepted my role as it was given to me, and did the best I could to organize events. It was difficult, and I was not able to put my own ideas to action the way I wanted to, because I was expected to work rather independently, with little support.…

In this 21st century, all healthcare organizations especially hospitals strive to incorporate EBP in all aspects of their daily activities. In a perfect world, my vision for EBP in the organization where I work will be one that will be mandated in every unit and department across the organization.
