1. What is artistic expression?
Artistic expression can take many forms. It could be painting, writing poems or books, sculptures or one of the thousands things that people can choose to express themselves artistically.
2. What about artistic expression is universal throughout human culture?
Art is universal. Many people can relate to a single piece of artwork. Our respond of art is based on our knowledge, culture background and personal experiences.
3. Can you identify a particular speech, work of art or musical experience that changed how you thought about something? Please explain.

Art can be understood cross across cultures and classes because its lack of reliance on language or written language, which makes it one of the most powerful tools of communication. Art can bring communities together. Many examples show that the creation of community arts can help citizens to share their ideas, values and hopes for future, and one of them is the teams in Baltimore who create maps using paint and GPS exploring the city they live in. This art project not only builds community knowledge, but also fosters connectivity locally.
5. How does language, music or art from other cultures inform you?
One of the links between cultural and language is that customs, ideas and traditions are passed on through talking. Although some part of culture may be passed on though dance or singing, but most customs are related to ideas, beliefs and knowledge that can only be passed on when they are fully understood. Languages from other cultures inform me about their traditions or cultural background.

Define and Explain Creativity.
Creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. Characters of creativity include the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns and to generate solutions. There are should be two processes involves in creativity which are thinking and producing. Turning ideas into action is to create.
8. What should the rules of censorship be in the country where you live?
A free society should be based on the principle that each and every individual has the right to choose what art or entertainment he or she wants or does not want to receive or create, and this is what I think the rules of censorship should be in United State. You give away the power to government to censor you if you allow it to censor someone else.
9. Should all poetry, music or art be beautiful? Explain
Many contemporary artists want viewers to think differently and go beyond the traditional rules of beauty. For some artists, it is more important for artwork to be interesting, thought-provoking, and challenging then just being beautiful. So no I don’t think all poetry, music or art should beautiful.
