Introduction Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the science and engineering of making computer machines able to perform tasks which normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, and translation between languages. AI is the area of computer science focusing on creating machines that can engage on behaviors that humans consider intelligent. It is the branch of computer science that aims to create intelligent machines. Artificial intelligence is the simulation of human intelligence processes by machines, especially computer systems. These processes include learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using the information), reasoning (using the rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions), and …show more content…
There is a scope in developing the machines in game playing, speech recognition machine, language detection machine, computer vision, expert systems, robotics and many more.
• In the next 10 years technologies in narrow fields such as speech recognition will continue to improve and will reach human levels.
• AI will be able to communicate with humans in unstructured English using text or voice, navigate (not perfectly) in an unprepared environment and will have some domain-specific intelligence.

Challenges of Artificial Intelligence A grand challenge is a seemingly reasonable problem that is exciting and yet challenging yet currently unsolvable. Each of the task requires long-term, stable funding at significant levels. Success is by no means guaranteed, and each problem represents a high-risk, high-payoff investment. However, even partial success can have spin-offs to industry and have a major impact on

This interaction will be characterised by the system’s capabilities and processes that will help the system accept inputs, process these inputs and generate an output. This will include the systems hardware devices. These devices will reflect on the contributions from computer science and engineering, whereas the human capabilities, both mental and physical, are understood through cognitive science and ergonomics. The interaction that exist between the computer and the human will consist of user interface software that will govern the meaning of the inputs and outputs for the computer. This will include the corresponding rules and expectations that the user would apply to generate meaningful actions.…

INTRODUCTION: The ability of a machine to act and react like humans and resemble the intelligence like them is Artificial Intelligence (AI). It is not a system but it is embedded inside the system like computer. It is a broad branch of computer science which defines the study of intelligent agents. Like humans, the machines also perceive its environment and take the actions accordingly to achieve their goals. The term “Artificial Intelligence” is applied when a machine mimics “cognitive” functions that humans with other minds, such as “learning” and “problem solving”.…
