Artifice helped foster some of the largest empires and nations that have ever existed. Without artifice, many would be unheard of or insignificant failures. A major example of this is Italy under Benito Mussolini. Once Mussolini gained power in Italy, he used artiifce through propaganda and his mannerisms, which gained him popularity and support.
