The Question of Origin: The biblical/Christian worldview is that God is the Creator of all things (Genesis 1:1, Holman Christian Standard Bible). God spoke and created everything out of nothing. In Colossians 1:16-17 (HCSB) the Apostle Paul wrote of the role of Jesus Christ, that by Him all things were created.
The Question of Identity: From a biblical/Christian worldview man was created by God in His image. Humans were given the responsibility of ruling the animals and being caretakers for them, (Genesis 2:15 HCSB). Man and woman are valuable and precious to God, they were created above animals and “a little lower than angels” (Psalms 8:5 HCSB)
