In the article that “Vocation or Exploration? Pondering the Purpose of College” it highlights the struggle between choosing a major that one desires or a major that will help them earn more money. And it also questions if going to a college or university is ensuring us students that we’ll have a job after graduation or not. Going to a university or college is suppose to help us earn a degree in a field that we love. Many have asked themselves if they should pursue a different career that would probably have a higher pay rate than the one that they desire however won't lead them to earn more money.
