In the article, “Do Schools Challenge Our Students?”, Ulrich Boser and Lindsay Rosenthal state that schools are being too easy for students. Some of the reasons that lead to this problem are teachers are not engaging with the students, lacking of resources and learning materials, and unequal learning opportunity. Students report that most of the time they cannot follow their teacher’s question and don’t even understanding what is being asked. For students who are willing to learn and looking forward to learn more advanced technology and engineering machines, schools cannot provide them with learning materials.
