Descriptive Essay On Wine

Art with a Taste of Wine I had not pictured myself in front of a blank canvas with a palette of paint beside me. All of the other women in attendance were regulars at this white wine affair. In fact, the other women, including my friend seated beside me, made painting an expressive, monthly event. Once invited, I was exceedingly hesitant. I am not one to express myself through art, yet that night, I was an open canvas. Prior to walking into the winery, there were signs on the door that stated it was “Art & Wine” night. Upon walking into the building, I could see a couple at the bar enjoying their glasses of wine and a platter of cheese and crackers. I could not help but notice the signs on the wall behind the bar with witty sayings like “Wine a bit; you will feel better” and “Friends and Wine”. Through a separate doorway to my right was a room that held a table of about twenty people and their artwork. Once inside the room, there was the sound of laughter and a soft music of choice was playing on a radio in the background. I untied my apron and began to look at a couple of the finished paintings, which was when I felt myself feeling in shock of how different each individual one had turned out. It appeared that everyone had a different interpretation of the instructions given. Once the last canvas seemed dry, we took several pictures. Some pictures of the groups that came together holding their paintings, some of the instructor with individuals and lastly, a group picture. Before leaving, I was sure to let everyone know that I had fun and how nice it was to meet them. I even made sure to tell them that maybe I would be seeing them again at another wine night
