Art Therapy as a Healing Tool for Sub-fertile Women, an 11-page summary of multiple studies completed by the Hamilton Health Science Centre for Reproductive Care, is about the effects of art therapy on infertile women. This study used questionnaires and art therapy to help relieve participants’ anxiety and depression. The participants in the experiment were twenty-one women with a mean age of 35.7 and a duration of sub-fertility of 64 months. The women were organized into groups of three patients, two artists, an art therapist and a physician. Shortly after the groups were organized, a needs assessment took place. The results of the assessment were summarized and became the basis for group session content.
